What started as a vision to bring track cycling to the Carolinas has now become something much bigger. The Giordana Velodrome is part of a 1000 acre development called Riverwalk, which is situated adjacent the Catawba River in Rock Hill, SC. Additional cycling amenities are being built as well, including a BMX Supercross track, cyclocross course, mountain bike trails, and a closed road course. Completion is expected by the end of 2011.
